    Goodbye to the days....

     I'd write because he begged me to.
    I type for hours on end,
    Hoping,
    Lying,
    Its only for myself I pretend.
    I acted like he'd come home
    But I know he's gone.
    I know I'm alone
    But I don't let myself to every cry
    Because when I finally fall...
    I'm saying goodbye.
    Goodbye to all the hours spent by his side.
    Goodbye to the sweet kisses.
    Goodbye to the nicknames
    And the games he'd play.
    Goodbye to liars
    Goodbye to this one night I had my chance to say.
    Goodbye to things he loved me for.
    Goodbye to the days I was his Sweetie,
    Hello to the days his friends call me a whore.
    Hello to the times his friends ask me for a quick fuck,
    Hello to his being gone.
    I'm sorry but I refuse to be what they call me.
    I still love him.
    I'm sorry he didn't stay.
    Goodbye to when I was in love.
    Hello to today.

    A self reflective poem of a lost love, but the determination to overcome the pain. "Goodbye to when I was in love. Hello to today." Hello to a new day. Nice write.
