Youthful wishing
I want to hold her in my arms
And tell her its fine.
I want to kiss her
And tell them she mine.
I don't care.
They want me
But the one I want isn't there.
I lie saying
The world does't matter.
I wonder why
The world won't shatter.
Lie and cry.
But never want the truth.
Hate and Try
But never understand the youth.
Lving for others
Like our mothers before.
Crying for him
And picking myself off the floor.
I say it didn't matter.
My world in a breath too close to shatter.
I smile and say tonight I'm living for me.
I walk out the door but he doesn't see.
