    Everything you put me through

    Living in a lie.
    Hating you
    And understanding why.

    Loving who you were.
    But hating who I used to be.
    I hate you more than everything including me.

    You had loved me then turned away.
    You had no choice.
    You couldn't stay.

    I lash out at you.
    Make you feel cold and hurt.
    I make you feel everything you put me through.

    when I was in my mid 20's I came to the realization that the day was never going to come that the people who damaged me would seek my forgiveness and absolution, with the full awareness of all the ways they hurt me...it will never happen. the choice we have whether or not to let their actions define who we are....I, personally, will not allow other people's issues to determine who I am. nice writing, I understand it...but there's a better way.

    Yeah. I agree. I wasted four years of my life chasing someone who was long gone from me. I'm done wasting time.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
