    the space your absence fills

    in my youth, missing you
    would have been very different
than what it means to me now.
pouring out what is no longer with me.
using my own krazy little method of
    rhythmic philosophy.
all my emotions SLSMMED!, against a wall of words,
    over and
    over.and now
    my missing you has become
an everyday part of my life.

Tyke - This truly saddened me. I've felt this way about someone as well, still do I guess. To make matters worse, I lost them to another and then later to an unexpected death. So I will always miss them. I hate this poem. Don't get me wrong, not fo the quallity, but for the reality - mine. Hate it or not, it is an excellent work. I don't know if I want to save it to my favorites though, I'm gonna have to sleep on it.

indeed i was very sad when i wrote this as you have guessed.but for me i find it very theraputic when i get this in touch with my emotions even the darker or sad ones that come along in every ones journey.but excepting it for me helps to heal and usually tends to lay out a new path or direction of interesty to me in order to help forget it for a time.

I LIKED THIS FOORM OF WRITING AS I AM NEW TO THIS I AM STILL DIGESTING THE WHOLE IDEA OF HIS PAIN FROM BEING APART FROM HIS LOVE . VERY GOOD, MADE ME THINK.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
