    The Sun Rose an Orb

    The sun also rises an orb of fire.
    In each nature an angel climbs,
    The heart of truth is pure.
    Flowers wave velvet petals.

    Crimson heavens set the eve,
    Orange cotton candy upon a wall of blue.
    Warmth of creation hold us close
    A gentle wind caress my brow

    A golden sliver glows white,
    Dark blue to deep ebon dims the day
    Shades vanish, night has fallen,
    The babes eyes droop

    Sleep precious child, dream sweet
    Let the true peace dwell in your heaven.

    Wonderfully descriptive,beautiful imagery and nice smooth progressive rhythm reminds me of a lullaby.Very nicely done!

    This is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful imagery! I loved every part of this, especially the line, "warmth of creation hold us close", that was so sweet and secure....thank you for sharing this.
