    Waiting To Die

You are born to die is that not a waste of existence?
Whether we stand to celebrate a life well lived or race,
well run we are all in the same boat we are born to die.
For most of us tis oh so unfair. However, when it is your
time to go that's it game over.
People decide that they can cheat death
and live a life everlasting to them I say show me.
Sure people  get all atwitter when they worship and lie.
But, the simple fact remains that,
                                         we are waiting to die.

A very grim outlook, but I am agnostic, so I say live life to it's fullest, have the best time you can possibly have while you're here, cause after that, who knows.

I am sorry that you feel like this. I have learned that in order to live a happy and purposeful life;we need to help and encourage others, who are dealing with difficult things in life. Also we need to look for the beauty and goodness in ourselves and others and to treasure all of the special moments we experience in the time we have been given.

yeah but thats not the journey in and of itself or ya miss the whole point, dont recall anyone cheating death lately.... Living untill you die is the whole point that makes death not so scary i think

Poor fella, so mixed up. Don't you know that God said in His word I came to bring life. The life comes after we die...for some. But if we don't think it is important enough to check out in the word...or even to get on our knees and ask God humbly.."What is Truth? Please reveal it to me God." If you never will do this, then sure, all it will seem like is a stupid existence with no valid point. But I ask you, isn't Your soul important enough to you to really search and ask God? Don't trust people on this...go straight to the source....Ask GOD.

this poem is the truth. life isn't suppose to be easy or fair...it's life. the moment we start breathing is the moment we start dying.the only thing we have to do in this world is die...the other stuff is just mere choices.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
