    something to think about

    Abort (I don't think so)

     you are making excuses when you say I made a mistake
    because of the life you decided to take
    aborting a living and breathing fetus
    shutting their life down
    so they won't have see this ( born )
    taking advantage of your free will
    but you forgot God says do not kill
    you decided to follow the laws of the land
    instead of listening to the Son of Man ( Jesus )
    tellling you not to abort
    remember you'll stand trial in God's court
    what will you say in your defense
    on why you never came to your senses
    what made you commit this awful sin
    I guess you forgot that sinners never win
    you probably say it was my right to choose
    because you played by your own rules
    God says just take a look to your left
    that's the baby boy you had put to death
    look at him with that precious smile
    you got pregnant in the streets while running wild
    now he is here (heaven) safe as can be 
    but My Words to you are 
    DEPART FROM ME    ( never repented)

    This is a very powerful poem with a powerful message! Many years ago, I wrote two poems that I have been reluctant to submit to this website....until now.     A strongly positioned write. The piece flows well and is very to the point. Makes the reader think, so many wont post, anything that makes them think makes them uncomfortable so .....I had an abortion, his DNA was really messed up. It was one of the hardest, if not the hardest things i have ever done. However I think in your work you make it clear that abortion is not a form of birth control, and there are prices to pay here and everafter. I hope it wasnt true and yours. I would like a little more meter and a bit more rhyme but your message was right on time. Write on' Tempestlady

    I like this poem, good flow as always, but yeah I agee with you. i mean this day and age you know the rest so... there is really no excuse. The only time I agree with abortion is rape I think that is her right not to go through that if she thinks she can't handel it. But I t over all great poem :0)
