    Giving Away Your Soul

    Giving away your soul
    God is the only One that can make you whole
    because it wasn't God's plan
    for a man to desire a man
    you must be sick
    to fall for satan's trick
    God will never give you such a desire
    living that way will get you eternal fire
    so repent and change your heart
    so you won't spend eternity in the dark
    y'all better recognize
    cause one thing for sure-we all gonna die
    after death our eternal Judge
    will show us what we did
    determines if we get in
    so what is it gonna take
    for you to avoid the burning lake
    live right and stay on God's path
    so you won't suffer His wrath
    after death your friends say R.I.P
    but it's up to you on where your soul will be
    there is nothing in this world that God hasn't seen
    go to Him and He will wipe your slate clean
    so you can search around the globe for love
    but I pray that your goal is to get your white robe
    from our Heavenly Father above

    They are getting younger and younger we need to recognize how this world is changing moving into more and more sin with every passin day its crazzyyy but every world has its end... nice write

    great write scary that so many ppl are turning ~that way~ n seems like they r getn younger n yougner by the minute i truthfully cant believe that so many ppl believe that ~u r born that way~ no some1 showd them that it was ok (i pray 4 them all but i also pray 4 all of us)

    I have a male cousin in this "choice" for his life, just like Mariadapoesia. I am praying for him, Curtis. Very nice poem, Mr. Poetry about the truth in God's word. Its interesting to read other peoples comments. I have just ONE question for Homosexuals: "If God is blessing your union... then why can you not procreate together ?" Ummm ?

    I have a gay cousin whom i really love. I pray for him, that he will see the truth and be set free by it. Your poem is very well written, mrpoetry, even when it involves such a controversial issue. Well done.

    I totally agree with Paolo and anybody else who also agreed with him. God didn't tell you to write this because you are judging people and he says do not judge. I also would like to tell you that you are sadly mistaken if you think that being gay or lesbian is a choice...I am a lesbian but did I wake up one day and say Oh I'm gonna date women?? No sir I did not...saying it's a choice is like saying i chose to be black....

    also being a lesbian or gay is a spirit. for we do not fight against flesh and blood. but against evil spirits and principalities. God will never give us that type of desire, because that would go totally against His word.

    Thank you Shorty. I am a Christian and when i hear others hold up the Bible and say it's all the word of God and therefore the law I caution them to note that it has been written by man and very little of it is the words of Christ. We are charged as Christians to serve our fellow men and women and not to find judgment of others, "lest you be judged also". I feel sad that so many cannot see this and feel we, God's children, are not viable targets for their ire.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
