part 2 of the cop
One less (shh) is how they see us
They ask questions later after they bust
Then they get on T.V. and make a phony statement
But it’s too late
Because the body laying across the pavement
What do you do when a cop commits a crime?
I think he should get at least a dime (ten years)
That may bring some satisfaction
Because the cop can think about his reaction
Next time he would think twice
Before he pulls the trigger and take someone’s life
I don’t mean to make this a race issue
But how would you feel if this happened to you
I just hope he realized the amount of devastation
That he caused this family frustration
So please don’t turn a blind eye to this
I am just reminding you that racism still exists
