    It’s A Fact

     

    Some skinheads plotted to take Obama’s life

    Wouldn’t you know it, they had to be white

    It’s 2008 and there is still prejudice

    Some people can’t accept the fact

    That a black man is President

    They must have thought they were having a bad dream

    When they awoke and saw the T.V. screen

    It’s a fact that still remains

    That some people’s view of us still won’t change

    They’d rather see us killing ourselves like we can’t behave

    Or just shackled and chained like a common slave

    But Mr. Obama has shown us

    We can be who we wanna be

    As long as we keep Jesus we are free

    powerful and beautiful too......sometimes i find myself thinking like this also, but i try not to hold anything against them especially if i dont want God to hold anything against me...lol....i was suprised by the president election also to be honest...i couldnt believe that Obama had been elected, but i am proud of Him for making it as long as this is God's will being done..

    This poem is deffinatly a very strong emotional poem, I can feel your pain and agravation here, Its sad that some cant get over stuff like this,

    Dude this poem of yours is the second concerning prejudice that I have read, dude if all that you see is prejudice wherever you turn then it is time for you to turn somewhere else.Ain't nothing like beating a horse to death is there, Incidently I voted for O'bama .

    once again i was talking about those skinheads. i know that everyone is not prejudice. i was just writing what i had heard happened. definitely i am not prejudice
