Sweet gracious god,
please listen to my plea,
I am but a broken man,
with a broken family,
my life had gone to shambles,
then the fragmented peices,
stepped on again and again,
i had all but given up,
hope faded,
and my heart had fallen cold and silent,
but then you returned,
and brought it back to life,
ending my world of strife,
i thank you,
my kind lord,
for ending my pain,
for giving my my girl,
to love and cherrish forever,
and for giving me another chance,
to pick up the peices,
that were once my life,
and put it back together,
and thank you,
for saving me from pain,
misery,
disgrace,
my own mistakes,
and strife,
but most of all,
thank you,
for saving me,
from myself...
