    i forget why i wrote this...but i do remeber that it was a nice day and i was sitting by a river....

    Caged

     there's this feeling i get
    deep inside my heart
    with every waking moment
    that I'm not near you
    i feel so caged
    all my love is locked away
    still I'm caged in
    a vortex of shadows
    and hoped
    standing on the edge
    of love and hate
    i only hope to find love
    still in a gated cage
    filled with hate
    I'm unsure of all outside
    this cage I've lived in
    so strange the world is to me
    I'm so trapped
    restless
    and lost
    when all around me
    is a giant cage
    it's hard to believe
    how utterly confused i am
    harder it is to explain
    how lost i came to be
    restless and alone
    i know I'm caged by
    my love for you

    your use of wording has a unique flare to draw the reader into your imagery and get in touch with the sense of the trap of emotion...nice work...

    Oh sweetness, there is no cage, only the looks of an illusion, for love is free to take flight. There is no lostness either, that too a distortion hiding the real in that truly all is found. Look beyond and see past the fog, the sense of isolation for you are love and you are free.
