i lost my touch

i lost my touch

Master of illusion

Hide your disguise

Liquefying my fusion

With promise of compromise

Long ago and so naïve

You had this girl

That would believe

Your fucked up world

But now she’s grown

And has had enough

Destroyed your thrown

And trashed your stuff

In a ruthless rage

Held her captive

Inside this cage

struggle to live

Inside the fire

Of her hell

Her one desire

She can’t tell

Painted pictures

Inside her head

Lighted fixtures

That raise the dead

A twisted heart

Filled with anger

Torn apart

Pointed finger

Ran away

As she runs

Child’s play

With her guns

Never lost

Never knowing

Unknown cost

That is growing

An I owe you

I will not pay

Because I’m true

To your dismay

What you give

Is what you get

I’ll still live

And not regret

All these lessons

I have learned

No confessions

Ever returned
