    • Very excited and very grateful. My son Michael will be coming back to American soil in about 12 days I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes and strength.

    Spring Remembered

    Yesterday
The trees were all gussied up in their lacy lingerie.
    This morning
They are fully dressed for their showing.
    Designer outfits of many greens
That sway sensually in the morning breeze.
    Debutantes ready for the ball.
    My eyes unable to decide
    Where to focus.

    My ears
Are met with the far off tapping
    Of a Woodpecker,
    Seeking breakfast.
    Mama Squirrel
    Is scolding her precocious twins
    Who busy themselves
    Playing tag between the trees.

    The garden
    Explodes with color!
    Each bud emerging a blossom.
    Each petal unique,
Painted by the brush strokes of angels.
     Demanding  my attention.

    My watercolor
    Is disturbed only by
The flitting of a Monarch Butterfly,
    Orange framed in black,
Lightly skipping from blossom to blossom,
On her way to Northern destinations.
    I think of home,
    and Spring,
    and remember....

This was beautiful. I could see Spring blossoming suddenly, the way it always does. The part of the Monarch Butterfly stood out for me. You made me see this lovely creature captured on your creative canvas of colors. I'm in awe. TS

I am always in awe at the speed with which the leaves grow from a bud to full grown leaf. Spring has always been a favorite time, but the colors of fall are what i miss so much. We do not have much of a color change in the Houston area, not like the Adirondacks....thanks for your time, again I am grateful.....mlea
