The Glass Wall
The glass wall.
It is between us.
You put your hand to it,
I mirror it with mine.
I put my ear to it,
I can hear your heart beating.
I can almost smell you.
I can almost taste you.
I can almost touch you.
Almost,
But for the wall.

- We sometimes build our own walls, and can't explain why. Your poem is short and gets this point across..........Very nice.
