    All Alone
    I SIT HERE IN MY LONELINESS
    AND STARE AT THE FOUR WALLS.
    I CALL YOUR NAME BUT ALL I GET
    ARE ECHOES IN THE HALLS

    I HEAR YOUR VOICE IN EVERY ROOM
    YET, YOU’RE NOT EVEN HERE.
    I PACE THE FLOOR AND CLOSE MY EYES,
    PRETENDING YOU ARE NEAR.

    I REACH OUT FOR YOU BLINDLY
    IN HOPES YOU’LL TOUCH MY HAND.
    THE EMPTINESS AROUND ME
    IS MORE THAN I CAN STAND.

    I’M BEGGING YOU --COME BACK TO ME
    WHEREVER YOU MAY ROAM.
    WITH ARMS OUTSTRETCHED, I’M WAITING DEAR,
    TO WELCOME YOU BACK HOME.

    god help me ,you have felt my pain! my husband left me out of the blue and your poem says just how i feel.i am writing one about this and will have it on here soon please do read it and let me know what you think! god bless!
