    Prayer for Retreat Pilgrims
    I come to you Abba Father
    In silence and in prayer,
    And ask you bless the speakers,
    Your word they want to share.
    Let your words come through them
    As they give their scheduled talks,
    To share his love for you, Lord,
    with the pilgrims on this walk.
    Let your light shine through them
    As they give their talks today.
    Let the pilgrims understand
    The words they have to say.
    Oh, Lord, your awesome blessings
    Are more than we deserve.
    Help us to tell your story
    Without hesitance or reserve.
    Open the eyes of the pilgrim’s hearts
    Let them see your wondrous face.
    Let them taste the glory
    Of your amazing grace.
    Touch each one a special way
    Let them feel your presence here,
    Let them carry your forgiveness
    Throughout the coming year.
    Thank you Abba Father
    For your blessings and your love,
    ‘Til we meet with you forever
    In that glorious home above.
