    Poem Commentary

Dedicated to the church in Millen GA.

    Song of Workers

    The hammers pound in rhythm
As each nail fits in its space.
And the saws buzz in harmony
As they keep their steady pace.

    Chorus
It’s funny how the Spirit moves
When you’re working for the Lord.
    The love just flows
    As the Spirit grows
When your only boss is God!

    The smiles upon the faces
Show the workers think it’s fun
To toil and sweat with pleasure
When you’re getting God’s work done.

    Chorus

For we are all God’s Children,
And each human is our brother,
And we must glorify God’s name
As we try to help each other.

    Chorus

So if you want to feel fulfilled
    No longer need you search.
I say, “ Hop on the Christian Train,
And help rebuild a church. “
