RAINBOW
There it stands -- majestic in the sky
With storm clouds slowly passing by.
A burst of color from shore to shore
Shall, too soon, pass and be no more.
The colors, a brilliant ray of hope
Silently urging us to cope.
For, 'twas God's plann so long ago
To place these colors for all to know-
That no more floods will cosume the Earth
His promise was the Christ Child's birth.
Our salvation was the gift God gave
The day that Christ arose from the grave.
The world will be a better place
Since God blessed us with His grace.
Jesus paid the penalty
To set our human souls free.
The storm was over but up above
God put a rainbow to show His love.
