Flowing

Poem Commentary

Something I'm going through in life.

Flowing

Tears just keep flowing out.
I can't seem to stop them.
Crying until I fall asleep every night.
Seeing red puffy bloodshot eyes when I look in the mirror.
I feel lost, I feel scared.
I feel so empty.
This pain is unbearable.
Why do I get out of bed?
It hurts to walk.
It hurts to take a step forward.
I will not complain to you directly.
That will only bring more stress.
More worry.
So I will keep these overflowing tears going.
In the darkness of my room where there is no one.
I'll fall asleep late at night.
Wake in the afternoon completely exhausted.
I'll stay isolated in this dark room.
Just to keep it bottled.
