Poem Commentary

Life once again.

Window World

Looking out the window.
Wondering what the world would be like.
What it would be like darker.
If there was no sun, would people be sad?
If we lived in never ending darkness would demons roam the world?
Would they devour our souls?
Could they see the fear some have for them?
Living fearless and happy in this darkness.
That is my dream.
Darkness heals what little heart I have left.
The light only hurts my small frame and deep blue eyes.
Looking out this window.
Seeing the true darkness that lives just beyond it.
My eyes sparkle and I smile so devilishly.
This is my world.
The world I will live in.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
