Worthless words

Worthless

Counting on my hands all the times these tears fell from my eyes because of you.
Trying to stop my body from trembling.
Falling down from the shock and disbelief of your words.
Seeing the look in your eyes as you look at me.
The look on your face reflects all the thoughts of worthlessness you have for me.
All those harmful words you threw at me pounding inside my head.
Throbbing like open wound on on my soul.
Shattering my heart like broken glass.
You're killing me with those worthless words.
"I love you".

"more than a tired old phrase...'i love you ' has seen better days..." this is why i really connected with this one. keep up the intensity

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
