Sitting here
Sitting here with tears in my eyes.Looking up at the sky wondering WHY.
As the tears fall from heaven, I ache to
be with you.
Sitting here pouring out my heart, my
thoughts.
I haven't got a clue why you left.
How could you leave me feeling so bereft?
Wasn't our heats connected?
I thought they was.
If you felt a different way, Why didn't you
say?
Why did you play games with my most
precious possession?
My heart was yours to keep.
You broke it.
You didn't care.
Sitting here, I choose.
I choose to be free.
I choose to be happy.
I choose this lesson.
You've taught me a lot.
Sitting here, I realize you took way too much time.
The life I lead is beautifully mine.
So as I take this sip of wine, sitting here I
feel just fine.
Sitting here is where I need to be.
I may be alone, but never lonely.
Sitting here.
Yes, sitting here.
Sitting here in my solitude.
I feel so, so good.
