    Words From The Heart

     It is not for me to judge
    My neighbor or my friend
    Or even an enemy
    I need to set a trend

    The hardest thing for me to do
    Is now to realize
    That in fact, I've made a pact
    Never to criticize

    If there's nothing nice to say
    Nothing that's good or kind
    It's best to give it a rest
    And not speak from your mind

    We should speak words from the heart
    What would my heart think of?
    Words of praise cut through the haze
    And are nurtured by love

    Precious words originate
    From a heart that is pure
    If my love is a disease
    Then I don't want the cure

    Healing words originate
    From a heart that is true
    My words from the heart will say
    That I've always loved you
