So big, so beautiful, like pools of honey,
Like a candlelight glow looking back at me.
All I have of you are memories untainted by time,
locked away safely in the vault of my mind.
Your brown eyes so playful and pure,
Oh how they make me feel so safe and secure.
You see right through to the depths of my soul,
now being without you has really taken it's toll.
Bursting with frustration, knowing there's nothing i can do,
looking at your brown eyes wishing i had you.
Taunting myself with thoughts of us in times past,
knowing i was the cause we did not last.
