    Foggy Future

    the rain begins to fog the window glass
    the storm reaches inside to my safe place
    i hope soon this all will pass
    already the rain and my tears are in a race.
    thunder booms and i clutch my chest
    trying to calm my racing heartbeat
    for tonight, i get no rest
    thanks to my mind echoing defeat.
    i just needed you to be there,
    just to hold my hand
    i needed you to care
    someone to talk to that might understand.
    so sften i would look to you
    how often were you there for me?
    tomorrow the sun will be out and the
    sky will be blue so when i leave you'll
    see it clearly.

    IT DOES SEEM THAT IT IS JUST TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR SOMEONE TO CARE FOR US AS MUCH AS WE CARE FOR THEM. THEN WHEN WE FINALLY GIVE UP AND LEAVE THEN THEY SEE THE LIGHT. BY THEN WE JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE OR DON'T BELIEVE THEM ENOUGH TO TRUST THEM WITH OUR HEART AGAIN. GREAT WRITE AND BRIGHT FUTURE TO US BOTH, POET FRIEND, MARILYN
