Naive Child
I'm like a naive childwith these thoughts in my head
when I know the cut of the real world
from the many times I've bled
the tears I've shed
from the time before I believed
everything he said.
and yet I know there's a flip side
I can not hide because I fear for my pride
because it was another man
that only watched as I cried.
I already know you understand
and if you could you would be here
to hold my hand
this love is pure as it's unplanned
I'll stay with you with one demand,
don't make me that naive child.
