Living Hell
swallowed by darkness
searching frantically for light
this tunnel closing in on me
not even room to fight.
i fear the worst
on my knees praying to a god
i don't even think can hear me
i can only pray
for a way out of this mess
a way to set my soul free.
would hell be better than a living hell?
surely that's the only place to go from here.
as my eyes close and my heart slows
i wish now only to disappear.
