The Faded Day
the stars in my eyes have faded
i see you for what you are
i see everything you've done to me
every lost hope down to the smallest scar.
the chain of love i was bound by
loosens from this starvation
i could just slip away and you'd
lose me in my extended vacation.
I stay close for this battle is not lost
there will be a new day tomorrow
I'll cling to this hope until you
slit my throat and i'm left to
drown in my sorrow.
