Setting Sun
trying to calm these thoughts
running through my head
there are some things
that are better left unsaid
the past creates smoke in mirrors
the ticking clock echos in the silent night
i have to look out for myself now
i only hope i know what's right.
one door closes and another opens
where is it that i go from here?
with the future coming with the light of day
i have only myself to fear.
