Poem Commentary

This poem was inspired from a time when me and someone from my school where still friend. I learned that he left what he needed to that you can still care even when it is gone. It was har losing him as a friend i lived though. Thinking back for when we saw each other after 3 months he lost his friendship for me. Yeah, it hurts but i learned to also move on.

Memories Woven thin

Deep in my memories your smile is fading.
The way your eyes sparkled when you where happy.
Fading away.
The way we looked together ment nothing.
It all Shall fade.
How you said you cared.
A lie through your teeth.
You would smile a stuning smiling.
It fades slowly.
The edges fraying.
Dreams broken of ever being with you again.
Fading away slowly
Memories Woven thin.
The edges of all we ever did
Fading.
Breaking away from the rest of the weave.
You showed me that you can care even after you are gone.
The colors you left in the weavings of my mind.
Lay as still as the dead.
Yet tight as a knot.
Edges woven thin.
Fraying away.
Memories woven thin.
I have said my goodbye.
To those Fading memories.
For in the depths of my dreams they lay.
Only coming up when the time is right.
My memories of you.
goodbye is hard.
Losing memories.
Its just hard to let them go.
Its time to move on to Newer.
Memories ones that wont fray away.
My memories woven thin.

My Dear sister you lived with me when that happened you disliked me the whole time becuase i guess i was very upset. Dearest of mine you do know how i felt.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
