    perfect prooposal

the door opens as i draw near
    candlelight fills the room
with fragrances which lighten the mood
rose petals lie on the ground
in a trail leading to a small table
    with a candle light dinner
taking my hand, he leads me to my chair
we eat quietly as a violinist plays
clearing his throat, he stands up
    reaching for my hand
    pulling me up to dance
but instead he kneels down on one knee
    proposing a beautiful ring
asking me to be his wife

I like your style very romantic and romance is a state of mind then a way of life, so you left me in suspense did you say yes?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
