    hit n quit

    you said you loved me
that you would take care of me
    made love to me, passionately
    my heartwould beat to
    a different rhythm
    emotions were as never before
    i welcomed you into me
    thinking you felt the same
but you had just played me
    i was just another piece
of your hit it then quit it game

oh! How tmany of us have been through this?? A man will groom you for however long it takes (usually just until you fall in love) and then break you into fragments that are unrepairable. This piece speaks for so many silent victims of broken hearts...and broken spirits. I love a write that stirs emotion...this one does. A great read. thanks for sharing. :o) Bj

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
