    when she closes her eyes

    whenever she closes her eyes
    she always seems to cry
    seeing things from the past
wishing the memories would not last
    times of hurt and pain
are seen over and over agian
days she thought the world would end
just wishing once the rules could bend
so she would not have to see
exactly how cruel this world can be
with so much hurt and sorrow
sometimes she wished for no tomorrow
so she wouldn't have to feel the pain
over and over and over again
but their is nothing more she can do
even after all shes been through
    whenever she closes her eyes
    she always seems to cry

a beautiful way to capture the emotion, and remind us of how some people live. thank you for posting this piece.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
