    The Gift

Like a gift, unwrapped, with bows untied
I expose all that I have inside.
Like a book you cannot put down,
you read me from cover to cover.
The lyrics of my heart, poured out,
    onto each empty page.
You are so eager, so observant.
    reading, even between the lines.
    My thoughts undressed,
    you begin unraveling my mysteries.
until you are deep inside of me.
    The very soul of me,
the candlelight by wich you read.

These are the beautiful words of a confident person sharing a wonderful gift: the essence of their feelings emanating from deep within their soul.Another beautifully moving poem.Quite memorable.
