Touchstone

We'll come around to it
beyond many years
of casting our shadows
deceived by our fears

It circles the edges
we tend to avoid
a semblance of union
tinkered and toyed

still, fated to wander
together... alone
wondering how we can rise
through touchstones

Yes, that's true, whether a mark is left or even a scar, it is the spark that makes it happen. Thank you for coming by and for your comment. ~Peace

Touchstones, crossroads, and others bends in the road ahead lead us onward, but to where...from one wanderer on this journey to another...this is a soulfully shared work...

Yes, the key word here being, "should"... therein lies the problem... Thanks for taking the time to read this and for your comment. ~Peace

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
