Advent

Advent

Look to the light
As twilight falls
Those hallowed times
In stable stalls
The risen one
Brings life to all

A river runs
It's given course
While flowing freely
From the source

Of all...

Look to the light
As dark descends
The world we know
In blindness tends
To overlook
What love extends

To us, unworthy
Sheep who cry
The shepherd hears
Our troubled sigh

He mends...

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
