-Her Shell-

  • The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one...

-Her Shell-

A bright and cheery woman with a smile on her face;
She laughs, her eyes sparkle and brighten up the place.
A girl that was always known for lifting your chin;
Then something in her changed the very moment he walked in...

She withdrew and became quiet, and everybody looked;
For where that girl had gone; they watched as she slightly shook.
This man stood beside her and away that girl went;
To a place she finds herself often, but should have never been.

In her shell hiding, from what she knows is to come;
Another round of torture from the one she thought she loved.
But when shes in her shell, its almost like he forgets;
Then he'll get triggered by something and once again it all begins.

She does her best to stay quiet and out of his way;
But she knows its not her its him, at the end of the day.
One day she knows she'll find her way, away from living hell;
But until that day comes she'll be here, hiding in her shell.

indeed the shell so porous and useless when the soul is lifted and look down upon its missing enchantment..may one day your entity becomes whole again..

Oh my god i want to hold protect and love this little girl and the rest of your family. This man clearly had some issues with self esteem

Shells are for meditating in- a place to remember who we are and why by letting go to our pain until everything becomes obvious.

I hope she is now out of the shell, to live in it is to turn all power over to your tormenter, leaving the shell is your only hope and empowereing....I only hope that your subject knows that and has acted, a good write on on terrible occurance

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
