    Poem Commentary

"There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature-The assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter" Rachel Carson 1956 The Sense of Wonder

    Spring Choir

It started as a minimal sound
    some chattering and squacking
The volume rose as more appeared
they all seemed to be talking

    Black mob communications
    Alerting others of their kind
    of impending dangers
    and treasures they can find

Within a short amount of time
    a barren tree can fill
    with many noisy birds
or some that just keep still

    Coke-a-ree coke-a-ree
    A Blackbird choir sings
    perched all around now
with red bars on their wings

    Coke-a-ree, Coke-a-ree
    makes my soul feel glee
    They didn't stay long
    Nor did their song

Beautiful imagery and a great inspirational content...Nature is simply medicinal for the spirit. Thank you Earthly for sharing! A well-written poem!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
