    Poem Commentary

I speak out warn everyone that sleeps with a marry man. Your dreams will not come true. He belongs to the woman that gave him her hand. Love and the heart can be false. My heart was broken, and we never did get to spend forever together. In the end, we hated each other. It is never okay to steal another away from the person who they belong to. Marriage is beautiful, and deserves respect. I write this poem as a warning against adultery. If it makes one person think than I have accomplished my goal. Thank you for reading.

    Adultery's Shame

    I had a selfish fantasy,
I was going to be with you,
I could see you and me would be,
Our love would know no bounds and would be true,
I would steal you away from your wife,
We would run away and be together,
We would start a new life,
    Our love would last forever,
I made my selfish fantasy a reality,
    I ran way with you,
    I broke up your family,
I didn't know what to do,
I heard your wife cry your name,
I knew what I did was wrong,
I felt no love just shame,
    Shame that lasted so long,
In the end lives were broken,
Because I helped you break the vows you had spoken

This is so real and I appreciate the honesty of your writings. As long as you have a story to tell that is authentic your readers will appreciate it. I know I do. Keep on writing and continue being real.

A very direct and eathly modern piece about adultery, and the effects on the family and everybody. Loved the rhyme, and the message was right on time. Write on...

well broken heart just ask God for forgiveness and move-on God loves you ok. here is a poem for you called is it worth it why risk the love of your life over a nut because what you're doing to her heart, it really cuts the love, trust and honesty it's out the window all because you wanted to creep on the down low just think of the hurt you put on her face because you decided to go over to another woman's place so you kept ignoring God's voice telling you to go the other way but you made your own choice and let satan lead you astray telling your wife I just got caught up when your only intention was to bust a nut now that you lost the love of your life you once had maybe next time you will listen to God's voice telling you to go home and just take a cold bath written by mrpoetry

I wish that was true. I was wrong, but then again two wrongs don't make a right. Howver, in this crazy mixed up world everything is okay.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
