What Do We DO?

It was a magical day,
The white dress and your dress blues,
Smiles and happiness in the air,
Hard to believe it ended in such a bad way,
It was the happiest day of my life,
The vows that made us husband and wife,
Now almost two years have past,
Our vows we took didn't seem to last,
I thought we had said goodbye forever,
However a simple phone call brought us back together,
The question arises are we meant to be,
Was there something there we failed to see,
Everyone thinks we should run from each other,
We should both find another,
A fact does still stand,
I did give you my hand,
Maybe we were hoping the vow would end with just paper,
The bond we shared would aventually taper,
So now we are here,
Do we stay or run away in fear?
