    Healing

                                          The pain will pass
                                 As the clock flows hour by hour
                                 Washing away memories wrath
                                    Stimulating mental shower

                                         Cleansing the mind
                                  
                                    Once again clear and pure

                                      Strengthening with time
                                        Again able to endure

                                           Taking the steps
                                     To move forward for self
                                       Turning rights into lefts
                                           Silent and stealth

                                            Forgetting the past
                                       Looking toward the future
                                            Old wounds closed
                                    Neatly bandaged and sutured

                                          Remembering the love
                                       In which you once believed
                                     Prayers answered from above
                                      A broken heart now relieved

    The opening stanza in this esquisite write set the tone for the entire poem, the metaphors used to desribe passing time, and the falling tears cleansing the soul were simply genius. "The pain will pass " As the clock flows hour by hour Washing away memories wrath Stimulating mental shower" This is poetry at its best.
