    To You....

                                                    As I sit here
                                     My mind constantly drifts to you 
                                      Looking forward to a new year
                              Yet I look back on what we've been through 

                                            I can't help but wonder 
                                     If you truly understand how I feel 
                                     How my heart beats like thunder 
                                    When a thought of you is revealed 

                                             Exposed to my mind 
                                         Leaving the physical weak 
                                          Tear fill eyes now blind 
                                      To this feeling I suffer defeat

                                                    And I cry 
                                 I cry because I'm at the mercy of love 
                                            Your heart, my pride 
                                  Honor, honesty, forgiveness and trust

                                               But in this feeling
                                            I can't help but smile
                                From visions of you my mind's concealing
                                            Keep driving me wild

                                             For even in sadness
                                               You bring me joy
                                             And in our madness
                                         So much love is deployed

                                              Drawing me closer
                                      Chasing and yearning for more
                                       Bringing my eyes to moisture
                                    Exposing my love, simple and pure

    Awww.... This is very sweet...Shows both strength and weakness.... U know sometimes what we think is our strength is our weakness and what we consider weakness is actually our strength.... (food for thought) Good write!
