    Love Is Also Like...

    Love is like being thirsty;  and getting almost enough to drink.

     

    Love is like being hungry;  and given half a hot link.

     

    Love is like trying to breathe;  and finding out half the air was diluted.

     

    Love is like a cigarette.  It hurts to realize, your feeling were self-polluted.

     

    Love is like a mandatory game;  and given unrevised rules.

     

    Love is like a sharp knife;  that your lover so frequently chooses to use.

     

    Love is like a painkiller.  It can provide temporary relief.

     

    Love is like a flower in bloom.  You can pick it;  but the roots are deep.

     

    Love is like a neurotransmitter, allowing communication between a neurons and cells.

     

    Love is like a risk.  One minute you’re heaven.  The next, you’re in hell.

     

    Love is like the atmosphere,  it’s depth is unending.

     

    Love is like an animal.  It can be chase away or befriending.

     

    Love is life.  Life is love.  It comes with it’s ups and downs.

     

    Love is sweet, bitter, happy, sad, and yes, plenty of smiles and frowns.

    A very poetic piece of work! The truth that this piece reflects is unending, magical in its on way. I like the arrangement of mystical phrases!

    Thank you; but, did you read TARAIN's "Love Is Like" first? You gave me my props, and thanx again; but without TARAINK, I couldn't or wouldn't have wrote this.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
