    Lovers Dancing...

    To feel the beat
                  and     move
    with the drums,
              his     hands
    on your     waist
              and the     bass guitar
    thrumming...

    Grind and roll,
              hips turn 
    and hips twist,
             loving his lips
    as he lays,
              on your neck,
    sweet     kisses...

    Crowded bodies
              on the floor,
    as the band goes on
                singing...
    And you 
          and     him
    keep on going,
                lovers dancing...

    I can see the dancer's and hear the music when you can take the reader with you and make them feel as you do then my friend you have become a true poetress congrats . Marie

    Amazing. Not only does it read like a dance, but it was so refreshing to read sounds as opposed to images. Don't get me wrong, imagery is great, fantastic, but sound is under-used and more difficult imo. Great poem Audrey :)

    I felt like I was a dance with my boyfriend again, it brought back many memories.
