    My Whole Life Walking...

     So long I have traveled
    along these roads,
    all through the years,
    through days hot and cold...

    On one side of me,
    the world is in shambles,
    on the other,
    in holes, lay my people...

    Above, the sun,
    once red, turns gray...
    The blue sky goes black,
    pouring down acid rain...

    I raise my face
    and smile though...
    For every scar,
    my wisdom has grown...

    The road on which,
    my bare feet do touch
    has been worn down
    by my Ancestors' thoughts...

    The winds that blow
    hair from my face,
    are filled with heat
    and memorance...

    Though I have lost,
    I have found as well.
    Down to my soul
    has this man delved...

    So though my feet may hurt
    and the obsticles be fierce,
    My heart will smile,
    through the worlds acid tears.

    My scars will show,
    they will be my medals...
    And my soul will walk
    Life's walk forever...

    You had some greet visuals here and the way you painted the work was well done. Yet I senced thier was no real close to the whole poem. no ending thought that would have wrapped the whole thing together. But the whole meaning that the journey is more importain then the destination would be a good ending point just a thought plot121...

    you are wonderful and the poem is great if i didnt know better would have thought it written by someone older i loved the wisdom and pain you discribe you are getting so good . Marie
