    Poem Commentary

    to good friend...who gives far more than he takes

    reciprocal
    the thing about stormy weather
    is the diminished visibility
    when it's raining on my head
    it makes it hard to see
    if it's raining everywhere
    or if it's only me

    the other night I heard your pain
    through the comfort that you offered
    and I want to tell you that I care
    when you're the one that's bothered
    because we're friends
    and I see you hurting

    I don't have a solution
    to any of life's plights
    or medicine to heal your wounds
    that's the right of time
    but if you need a heart to care
    or a shoulder for your tears
    you don't have to look too far
    I'm right here

    This is a beautiful little poem tender. I like it very much. It is the sign of a good friend who can feel another's pain. I am sure you are a good and beautiful person inside and out.

    When the rain falls is it God crying or do we store up all our pain in heaven and He has to let some come down when the reservoir gets too full? Thank you for this tender, sweet little bit of heaven.
