    Rejuvenation
    Rejuvenation: 26 Lines

    I didn't know I had it in me,
    That I too can cause another lady,
    To take a second look and check me out again,
    Make her think twice on that past decision from within,
    The sparkle in her eyes was one of true attraction,
    So much so it made her blush, sort of hide that contraption,

    Of likeness when she saw a cleaner, newer version of me,
    Already I had the kindness and humor to make her happy,
    But I was still reveling in what was unfolding,
    Hard to believe what I was beholding,

    Especially because I had no intention of running into her or seeing her, didn't expect her on my path,
    But best believe it was her I wanted next to me taking a bubble bath,

    And do what I know she and I equally wanted most,
    To run her hands down my shiny head as it would lean back into her chest, the host,
    That's it you know, the source for her rejuvenation,
    I've become the Black Captain Picard, and enjoy this new smooth sensation,

    I doubt not much more will happen between she and I unless a lonely moment is come,
    If such a time does occur, my shiny head and charm will initiate what could become,
    Meanwhile back on planet earth, far away from the sky,
    I end this poem, the pen says goodbye!

    Not sure why I thought that was Jackson…. I am the least person to claim a romantic nature, as it is seems rather foreign to me on so many levels. And yet reading your work as well as watching the depth of love that my mother and step-father have for each other awakens a longing in one that is intriguing, releasing the overall controlling nature of one’s emotions. Enticing…
