    Disaster

     I stare in horror at the scene before me, A multitude of random thoughts filtering through my mind. All the pain and sorrow I had felt until than paled in comparison to what they must be feeling. Their homes torn apart by the very earth under their feet, and their minds filled with terror beyond belief. Why did this happen to such innocent beings? I ask myself not for the first time. If only there was a way to take away their pain, to take away their sorrow. But alas it cannot be so, for it takes more than a single person to mend the heart and soul.
