Poem Commentary

The lyrical version of good and evil. the vantage point of how people continue to chase themselves around a mountain followed by their fears

Twisted minds

We can't keep playing this twisted game ,
chasing my mind insane again & again.

I see you Lucifer,
destroying the best of her.
Dressed in one of your many disguises,
trying to elevate evil to it's highest.
Im a child of god , so with you i'm bias,
You're one the World's finest liars.
making sure Hades stays lit with fires.

We can't keep playing this twisted game ,
chasing my mind insane again & again .

I saw how you came and blinded that guy ,
sucked his soul right through his eye , why ?
soon as one fire is extinguished,
here comes turbulance and anguish .
Sanctified winds blowing all kinds of mercy .
Praying that the day preceded was the worst to see.
We can't keep playing this twisted game ,
chasing my mind insane again & again.

I hated everyday in the wilderness ,
Fighting to keep sane , while walking through the devil's brain.
Every turn another tortured vein,
See this is how it felt to be labeled insane .
like i was born to take the blame .
My future was destined to fail.
till God blew breath on my future's sail .

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
